This policy covers ctibos.com, the website of Computer Technology, Inc. ("CTI", "we", "us"), 301 Scott Ave #1, Rupert, ID 83350. We keep it short: this site collects very little, and we only use what you send us to answer you.
What we collect
- What you type into the contact form: your name, email address, phone number, company (optional) and message. We also record how long the form was open before you sent it, which helps us tell people from spam bots.
- What any web server records: when you load a page, our server logs your IP address, the page you asked for, the date and time, and your browser type. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working.
- Spam protection: to limit how many messages can be sent from one place, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for about an hour after you send the contact form, and then delete it.
What we don't do
- We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies.
- We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list because you contacted us.
Stored in your browser
Two small settings are saved in your own browser (local storage), and neither is sent to us: whether you chose the light or dark theme, and the times you recently sent the contact form, so the page can tell you if you have reached the sending limit. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To answer your message and give you the information, quote or service you asked about.
- To keep normal business records of our conversations with customers and prospective customers.
- To protect the website from spam, abuse and attacks.
Services we rely on
- Google Workspace: our email runs on Google Workspace, so messages from the contact form, and emails you send us, are delivered to and stored in our Google mailbox.
- Google Fonts: the site's fonts are loaded from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
- Google Maps: the contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for a short time and then deleted automatically. Messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to help you and for our ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete them sooner (see below).
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have from you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email staff@ctibos.com or call 208-436-1912, and we will take care of it.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
